The stats you posted (implicitly forwarding them as correct) are incorrect. The mature thing to do would be to acknowledge the correction. But go ahead and try to pretend that the issue here is with people not reading. Even though those who read every word of your post without reading forget in the thread will come away misinformed. It’s all ESPN’s fault, I know.

ESPN is wrong PERIOD.

If ESPN is wrong...They are wrong. That is where I got the stats from.

I am sorry it hurts your feelings and I am sorry you can not read and understand what is read.

As you can see when you use a specific site for your stats and you grow to trust them, that is just the site you use.
If it is wrong it is wrong but there is no ill will when someone is posting the stats that should be correct from a site that it's business is to keep correct stats.

In other words it is not YOUR fault.

That is why I always state at the start of every random stats thread I post that I got the stats from ESPN and also about monday night stats not counted yet...because I also get people who complain because they monday night stats are not counted.

Maybe you should get stats from somewhere else now that you know ESPN has incorrect information.

Or I can just correct the numbers so that others aren’t misinformed and deal with your back-pedalling and bruised ego. That actually seems the more practical approach given that I’m not spending my time on ESPN’s site (and certainly not repeating their misinformation here as if it were reliable).

And you did post it to which I said...ESPN is the numbers I used...if they are wrong they are wrong and they are to blame and you could have left it at that. But that would be too hard to do.

It would be different If I KNEW they were wrong and posted them KNOWING they were wrong and then I could understand it.

However as I have stated, and will continue to state...if you got beef, have beef with ESPN for posting the wrong numbers. Or not.

Used to get them from dallascowboys.com but they tended to be inflated when it came to defensive stats so I switched to ESPN.

I could go round and round and compare all of the different stat sites but that tends to take too long so I just stick with ESPN now and that is the VERY REASON I always..and again i have typed them numerous times to the dismay of those refusing to read and understand it, that the stats all come from ESPN.
