Gabe Jackson is highly rated guard in the draft. read in other drafts of him going late to the broncos as they might lose OL. So I doubt he lasts until the 3rd. In the 2nd pull the trigger.

Love that you built the trenches but we need LB help bad and I see no improvement there. Also Berny has really gelled with the OL, don't mind bringing in guys for competetion.

Overall good job.

Tuitt might no higher, but can't ignore the focus.

With Kyle Van Noy's ability to blitz and play the pass, I think he's someone to consider in round one.

We HAVE to improve the safety spot over Wilcox and Heath. Both are atrocious in pass coverage. The good offensive teams like Saints and Eagles targeted him all day.

no upgrade at safety the offseason is a failure. Heath and Wilcox showed nothing to be starting next year

I am sorry but I know DL is the key but if McCarron is there in the 2nd I would take him. Let him sit behind Romo and learn and hopefully when Romo is done McCarron can step in a la Rodgers.

I know we didn't beat Philly and I know Orton threw to costly ints, but why are we getting rid of him? We were in the game, which is close to the best case scenario for a back up QB. We can still add a rookie QB like Zach Mettenberger, but why get rid of Orton?

I'd throw up if we drafted Mettenberger. Hate him as a QB.

Darren McFadden

Replace Mettenberger with Aaron Murray.

Replace McFadden with a free agent on defense.

Strictly a cap casualty, I also like Orton

I do too, but didn't want to hijack the thread.

FWIW, I really like Aaron Murray, especially if he goes in round 4 or later
I'm a huge Murray fan but rumor has it he may not be able to contribute in the 2014 season so that would ruin the fact that Orton may end up being a cap casualty. + if he is going to miss all of 2014 the combination of that & him being considered small for the QB position we may be able the get him in the UDFA, doubt it but maybe

Your Safeties terrify me.

On a positive note, they would excite opposing quarterbacks and offensive coordinators.

Have to upgrade at Safety/LB for sure.
The DL need to play proper positions.
Crawford/Bass are DT.
No way in Hades the big FA acquisition is a RB.

Appreciate the thorough plan tho. Nice to see completed thoughts.

I don't think Murray will be able to play next year, but that is more than fine with me.
