12 Picks: 7-9 [UDFA] Will Sign

We essentially wasted 3-5 picks with this draft. According to Stephen we're only going to sign 7-9 picks. I dont like this strategy.

Its like throwing poo around a room and seeing what sticks.

I do like several picks, yet there are a few that I think are just absolutely atrocious. I feel they're wasted picks, and we will find out by who gets signed.

If true, then "ouch". Lousy draft strategy. Sounds exactly what I joked about earlier, Cowboys FO doesn't want to waste time negotiating w/UDFA's or giving out signing bonuses.

Did he really say that? I was listening but didn't hear that. He might have been talking about the undrafted players.

Really? Maybe I misinterpreted. I thought on the PC someone asked how many of the draft picks will they sign???

I could be wrong, but I thought he was talking about our draftee's.

We're only signing 7-9, and that includes a player from the reality show.

Obviously he meant UDFA.

Rookies don't go to training camp without a contract.

So they wouldn't be able to determine which kids to sign without them going to camp.

Yeah he was talking about the UDFA that we'd sign. Only 7-9 more to come in and fill out the spots to take to camp.

They didn't draft 12 people so that they could refuse to sign 5 of them before anything even gets going. That would be stupid and something only the Raiders would do.
