Here are some questions for you as Cowboys fans but hopefully will incite some intelligent discussion. Follow the 24 hour rule for wins and losses and set emotion aside.
First of all I want to say that one thing I love about Christmas is all the variations on the cheerleader Santa costumes. Hoochi mama!

IF Wade is fired, and Holmgren becomes the leading candidate:
1. are you confident Holmgren has the fire revived in him to coach, as he may have been in retirement mode all this year?

2.If Holmgren is hired, would he install the west coast offence--imagine RW and TO and yards after catch; imagine Choice and Felix catching passes out of back field; imagine Witten and Bennett in their role in the west coast.

3.If west coast is installed, do we have the type of OLinemen to implement it

4.looking at our OL and the fact that they are essentially all under extended contracts; what is the answer if the offense remains the same. This past game reminded me of several years ago when the OL found it impossible to adjust to any stunts or delayed blitzes. Flo couldnt even recognize 55 lined up on his shoulder with the delayed blitz late in the game. I saw him turn his head inside and completely ignore Suggs on one sack!

5.Are you as impressed with the development of our defensive linemen over the course of this year. Canty, Spears and even Bowen have really increased their level of play

6.Injuries are common to the NFL but this year was incredible. What was the most injurious injury? I think it was either Kosier or Felix myself.

7.What was Barber's yard per carry average before Felix got hurt? Saw yesterday that it was currently at 3.7 which is below average for the NFL

8.Yesterday lost me as a Garrett supporter. The team looked baffled! Does Garrett get fired? Does Wade get fired as well? I think heads will have to roll beginning with Reed and Stewart but do you foresee a total housecleaning, Jerry's post game comments notwithstanding.

9.Who else besides Cowher would you like to see coaching the boys in 09? He will be the hot commodity in Cleveland; maybe Detroit; and any other vacancy probably as well.

10. How does Jerry eliminate the drama? Clearly it has caught up to the team. TO is the focal point and it is amazing the amount of hate in the NFL world for this guy. Do you hold Jerry responsible for the drama. He brought in TO; Tank Johnson has been a model citizen so far; Pacman hasnt been worth the trouble; but to hear the media, the locker room is full of renegades

11. does the Rothlesburger hype machine take a siesta after today? Big Ben was a regular turnover machine today, when asked to do more than throw 20 passes a game. My colored opinion is that the defense generally dominates an opponent and keeps the game close for the offense. The offense wins alot of the close games because the opponents defense is under pressure for 60 minutes to keep the game close (as their own offense is being held in check). Eventually the opponent defense cracks.

12.Is anyone afraid of the Eagles? They seem to be playing the best of anyone in the NFC east. they have a great coach and defensive coordinator. I can see them slipping into the last wild card spot somehow!

As poorly as this story has been written, I would still like the finish this book before I start guessing at a sequel.
