Until Jerry is feeling uncomfortable, nothing will change. Owning a 4Billion dollar franchise can make anyone feel very comfortable for a very long time. That's the problem.

Closer to 5 billion I believe... lol

2007, 2014 and 2016 were not garbage. The team didn’t win a Super Bowl, but it’s difficult to call 13-3 teams “garbage”.

Exactly.

This season looks like it will suck. But it’s just ridiculous to say 2014, 2016 sucked. 2007 was a great year.

And this current team doesn’t suck, except at 2 or 3 vital positions.

I think the front office has cleaned up a lot of the dumb stuff they were doing and our cap is finally in great shape so we can now play in free agency again.

Lots of young talent. Lots of cap space. Now we gotta get a QB...which yes, does suck.

Don’t take this personally, when I say “you” I mean every fan including myself. You make a good point but how many of you still tune in to watch the Cowboys lose or have tuned in to watch the Cowboys lose for the past 20 years? That helps the ratings which helps pad Jerry’s pockets.

What about buying merchandise? Attending games? It all helps Jerry.

So as fans we’re stuck with “supporting” our team and therefore supporting JJ or just watching the games that are available locally and not watching all the Cowboys games at all, buying merchandise, etc.

Unfortunately I live in the DFW area so I can watch all the games for free but that’s where my loyalty stops.I used to go to a Cowboys game at least once a year, own a J Witten jersey, live near The Star but will never go unless things drastically change, etc. I haven’t completely cut off the Cowboys but I’m close minus watching their games for better or worse.

Well, that last real HC bolted once he set up a winning team and I thought he reason for leaving was idiotic as well. Just felt like a quitters move.

But it's whatever and so long ago at this point I don't even dwell on it. I was still a little puppy in high school having my first real relationship when this was going down. Feels like a lifetime ago.
Maybe he bolted for the same reasons the other one did.

But if you read, which you didn't, you would see that I am talking about the coaching being garbage, not the players. Sometimes read a little before you comment.

That's not the reason Parcell's gave - the reason he gave was that the way the Seattle game ended was too stressful, "too much blood". Maybe he was worried about his health. Who knows.

This team always goes to garbage when the legit HC leaves. Sure, we'll get enough talent together to show signs occasionally, but mostly it's mediocrity.

Funny how after we win 3 super bowls on the strength of the OL and the D, Jerry finally puts together a team whose strength is the OL and the D!!!!!!!! Only took him 20 years!!! Now we just need a HC to put it all together!!!!!
