Look, I'm not saying that the Saints defense is the second coming of the '85 Bears, but they've gone from last place to top-whatever statistically. You can only beat the teams you face.

I agree with that, but the story is a turnaround story regardless. They were historically bad last year. This year, they're solid. Not great, but solid. And that's a fine step in the right direction.

That defense still sucks, they haven't had any success...or even really played...any good offenses.

I heard today the Cowboys are on pace to be the second worst defense alltime in the NFL. That would put them behind even expansion teams. No excuse for that.

And that was done with Wade Phillips as HC and Tony Sparano helping Garrett call plays. I don't give Garrett much credit for that season.

Hey I had no problem with Wade and I laugh when people try to say Garrett has done better than Wade. Hello, Wade won the division two of three years, and actually won a playoff game.
