Saw this write up of this game, and found it quite odd in a number of ways...Bart Starr was in this game. It also featured a 12th man tackle during the game...a player running off the bench to make a tackle.
Anyway, I didn't know that Starr was a three-way player back then, or that teams apparently had just anybody kicking PATs, FGs, and kickoffs.
Halfbacks making tackles? Awards of "Lineman of the game" and "Back of the game"...?
Just a different era, and this write up shows that pretty well I thought, and thought you all might like it. It has a link to the 12th man tackle, as well.
