1967/1968 - Were The Doors better than both The Beatles and The Stones

Love the Doors and Stones. Not a fan of the Beatles.

As much as I was into the Doors, can't put them above the Stones.

No one can keep up with The Stones 69-73, but 67/68 Stones we're still changing into the powerhouse they would become.

I can see Morrison influencing Mick Jagger with the raw no rules performances in America/Europe 67/68. By 68 you can see Mick Jagger is developing a nastier side during the Rock and Roll Circus performance.

Rock fans always talk Beatles Stones but i think The Doors might have been the best Rock & Roll band for a very brief period of time between 67/68.

Love the Doors. But No.

Always been curious if Jim had not died if they would have continued and grow even more.
Seems like he was getting bored with it.

Liked all three but thinking about it; can't really compare them because musically, they are so different.

I like The Doors better than the other two but I don’t think you can call them better,

I can only imagine what Jim Morrison would’ve evolved into. He and Yoko Ono could take turns putting out weirder and weirder avante garde BS.
