I have never seen this game before. I wont be able to watch all of it, but so far what I have seen, the Cowboys front 4 were complete beasts. Their LB core were very good too.

I sure wish our DL could be half as dominant as the 78-79 Cowboys DL.

What kills me about that game is the fact that Dallas was easily moving the ball after taking the opening kickoff by running Dorsett. Then Landry just had to get cute and tried to run a double reverse. Drew fumbles and the drive dies. As crucial as points turned out to be in this game, the Cowboys left at least 3 (more likely 7) points on the field. Every time I see that play, I think how unnecessary it was. Why run a gadget play when Dorsett is absolutely OWNING the Steelers defense? :bang2:

Super Bowl XIII was pure frustration for me to watch in 1979 and still is today:mad:

If we had continued giving the ball to Dorsett, we would have won that game.

Oh, and I don't complain much about bad calls, but Benny Barnes got royally screwed on that pass interference call. Still makes me mad to this day.

True, so true! I will never understand why Landry let up on the Steelers. Dorsett would have been the deciding factor, instead of penalties and one big dropped pass (Smith)
