Here are some plays (mostly flattering) that I uploaded to Google. You can DL them to your computer for better quality.

Never should have lost that damn game! :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

When you force six turnovers, you usually win the damn game. It was a much more physical game than I remembered. Montana almost had to come out of the game, and Lott was favoring his left hand late in the 4th.

I posted the Donley play just for you. I know you were hard on him.

It's been awhile since I watched that game. Definitely another game we should have won. I watched the Ice Bowl last night and NFL films version of Super Bowl V today. Both games we should have one.

That is still in my personal bottom three games ever. The Commanders losses in 1983 and 84 are there too.

Add in the Niners in 94 when a dubious non-PI call aborted our comeback.

Not hard enough! Donley always seemed to be on the verge of making a great play but found ways to choke. He was one of the more disappointing players in our history.

The thing I remember most about that game was that last 9er drive. We punted to them up 27-21 with under 4 minutes left, if I recall correctly. Pinned them at about their own 11 yard line. Landry decided to go nickel and Walsh ran the ball. That wraparound draw play.

The Pearson catch after the Clark TD. Then the White fumble. Too much of an emotional roller coaster for me as a kid.

There was almost five minutes left when the Niners got the ball (an eternity, really). And I wasn't kidding about that horsecollar.
