1985 Pittsburgh at Dallas

My man Tony Dorsett with almost 200 yards from scrimmage and two TD's. He got handed the ball and opponent fans held their breath. Have you ever seen a smoother runner? Tony Hill, a very underrated receiver.

He should have been used more in the passing game, but Landry was set in his ways. I'm convinced had they unleashed Dorsett in the passing game, they would have won at least two more Super Bowls. Oh, well.

I'll tell you what stood out to me after all of these years. Watch the game all the way through and see how many fewer commercials you see compared to today. Quite a difference.

Never seen a more smooth, fluid ,shot out of a rocket acceleration runner like
TD...probably never will.

Watching the late 1980s Cowboys depresses me sometimes.

I always knew it was going to be hard, but they just made plays.

You knew it was a lot of smoke and mirrors. Our coaching was razor thin precise and it worked out.

If you have witnessed great coaching (Belichick is the best this generation has seen), then you know what I am talking about.

Then again, we have been dealing with "not good enough" teams for forever.
