The media was a lot more entertaining during those days...and actually told exciting stories. Their views weren't limited by a ten second viewing period.
There was conflict, but a lot more compassion to what a fan actually valued. Then, if someone saw something not normal...he would warn a person of that fact. Today, too many see dangers and merely comment, 'Boy, he really is stupid.'
