So much better times. With literally everything.
Facts!!

Since it is Nfc Championship time here is this game, not sure if they win this or not.
But fun to see this cowboy team. Madden and Curt doing the broadcast.
Madden said he didnt let his kicker warm up if he had first down at the 10 lol, which is funny.
May have to watch it on youtube.
Might be my favorite play of all time. It's definitely in the top 5 favorite plays.3 words etched into all Cowboys fans:
Slant
To
Harper
Take note of the hitting in this game for those that watch it. A bit different than what we see today.
yeah today I think too much editing, and replays and graphics, but back then one thing that bugs me is they rarely show the score or the time, and I tendTelevision has come a long way since Dallas was in an NFC championship game.
I thought this was shown straight after the game, but apparently it’s the following year after the Cowboys beat the 49ers in Dallas...

actually, it was, just not as many people on it.nah, the internet wasn't around back then![]()
moooooo ! yeah moose and novachek didnt get the credit they deserved, and the whole defense got hardly any credit for those seasons even thoughHidden hero was Moose Johnson.

to forget the score, or If I am jumping back in at a later time, I have to wait to see what the score is and the qrt.
Also the 4:3 picture now seems odd, too bad they didnt come up with widescreen tv's and broadcasts back then.
I imagine the comment would have been very similar during that game than they are in our current game day threads. Dallas hadn't been relevant in quite some time. They were playing on the road against a great SF team. We got burned for a quick TD that was thankfully overturned by penalty. We got a turnover but had to settle for a FG. The team struggled in the first half and we weren't aware yet that this team would become the dynasty they would become. The slant to Harper is such a big play because most fans were probably on pins and needles waiting for the shoe to drop and the 49ers to come back and win the game.actually, it was, just not as many people on it.
There probably were some simple message boards up though.
