Emmitt out the first two games. The team was worried about a back surgery for Troy Aikman. Then had to pick up Bernie Kosar...

Nice share.

Just a thought...doing it on the road!

Nice film, 2 td catches that would not be catches today.
The prediction by jimmy to beat SF was him using psychology on both his team and the 49ers,
they were the only team that worried him I think.
Beating the giants was very close. they could have been the div winner.

Since then.......

I've partied hard, finally met the girl, dated her for five years, gotten married, had three kids, sent one to college, changed careers, built two houses, and gotten old.

In 1993....

The Southwest Conference still existed. Romo was 13 years old, Witten was 11, Dez was 5, Zeke wasn't yet born, and Jerry Jones was in his 40s. Bill Clinton was in his first term. Will Smith was still a rapper.

Been a while.

This really puts it in perspective of how long it has been since we were on top. I was in early grade school in that era. I am now in my 30s and have my own life.

The Cowboys were good when me and my friends discovered Super Tecmo Bowl on Nintendo. Michael Irvin would catch every pass, Even when he was covered. Oh the memories

This shouldn't be a source of remorse...it's history and part of the past.

Live in the present and root for what is still a pretty good team.

Moral to the story I took those teams for granted I will never do that again

Yeah, it was almost like winning was a given back in those days. Im not ashamed to admit, as pathetic as it is I would man cry if we won another super bowl.

Off topic, but I miss those big shoulder pads. Made them look more like football players.

Now they wear those tiny pads. Surely they don't provide the same level of protection, do they?

Awesome. I bought this VHS after that season, it's crazy how familiar it all is over 20 years later.

The big games we won back then not only did we win we stomped a mud hole in the opponent and walk it dry. fast forward to 1:42

Ill never forget Irvin going down in Philly and thier classes fans cheering and then booing as he was carted off. It was etched in stone that day that I would despise that franchise and thier wretched fanbase for the rest of my life. If memory serves that was his last snap, although Im sure some of you guys have better recall than me.

Yes your right. I feel the same way about their fanbase. They say horrible things to players and coaches but it's ok because it's just them being passionate. I get tired of hearing that

Oh so true. And of course my buddy would always use the Raiders and it was almost a touchdown every time he ran the ball
