This stuff really takes me back.
TBH, I didn't think until now that the '95 Niners were a "great" team... but look back at their games, I'm thinking they were better than we think they were, and only failed to get a shot at the super bowl because Holmgren knew their team inside and out.
Also, I don't remember the cowboy defense being as bad they have it ranked here (13th)... but again, you have to consider all the players who left the '92, '93 teams through free agency, especially on the defensive side.
Also, Emmit Smith completely destroys all other RBs of that season (he did run for 25 TDs, after all)... but what really gets me is Michael Irvin posting the highest DPAR of any WR of the DVOA era. It just goes to show you what a 3rd down machine he was back in the day.
Also, if you don't know what the stuff here means, feel free to browse around that website for a bit to aquaint yourself, it's pretty interesting (though I wouldn't take it as gospel, per se).
