First I need to explain the reason for my picks in this mock. The draft has only 2 players worth drafting in the top 10( IHO) PP and fairley. So then we would need to trade down and pick up a 2nd round pick.

I chose a system specific BPA. We need to pick up a RT FA example Clabo, we will spend money with Kosier might as well get a better player. Also FA FS example Brod. Pool.

Researching the Dline of defenses that play similar defense to what we will play made me shy away from drafting dline at the #9th pick.
Pitt Dline 8.5 sacks
NYJ Dline 6.5 sacks
Dall Dline 6.0 sacks
GB Dline 17 sacks
Now we draft SSBPA( system specific BPA) and dont have to reach. All picks have to be 3 or 4 yr players

1st round RB Mark Ingram
2nd round C/OG Stefan Wisniewski
2nd round DE J. J. Watt
3rd round OT James Carpenter
4th round FS Deunta Williams
Trade my 5, 6, and 7 pick to move up for an extra 4th
4th round ILB Casey Matthews

respectdatstar i like your draft, you think Deunta is going to make it that far? Wasn't he one of the best Safeties coming out? How bad was the injury he had?

I was just going off of the board in the link provided. I think he would go earlier than that, yes. Thank you, though. I went back and forth on it. I went through all 7 rounds, made my picks, then went back and tried to find a better way to do it. I just couldn't pass up Cameron Jordan. Speaking of Cameron Jordan, I saw there was a TE on the board named Jordan Cameron. Weird.

You know the rules, you can't pick a player ranked higher then the Cowboys selections.

Pick #9...1st round

Pick #41...2nd round

I thought we had the 40th pick, not the 41st?

Can you make trades, say trade down from 9th to about 15th? Also I thought the 2nd round pick was not the 41st but actually the 40th pick. If you can make trades, can I adjust my picks?
