So far that has a higher probability than anything else.

I'm just going by looking at the inconsistencies of what he said and how almost no starting quarterback in the NFL gets micromanaged like that. I'm pretty good at telling when someone is trying to con me.

Hear me out for a bit....in my experience, a HC is ultimately responsible for the team's performance....win or lose. So, when I say that Schotty needs to have his pulse on every play and every situation, some either disagree or misunderstand me. Let me explain....as a HC, you are responsible for the flow of the game....what I mean by this is, if our defense is coming off the field, tired, beaten, confused, they need time to rest and adjust....meet with the DC and position coaches. In the meantime, an OC isn't worried about that...what's to stop them from going out, three straight incomplete passes, punt and put the defense right back on the field? The HC is! An OC is on the 1 yard line and wants to dropback and throw a deep pass, risking a safety, what's to stop him from doing that? The HC is! A DC, wants to blow a TO to talk to his players because the OC went three and out....what's to stop him from blowing a TO that we made need later? The HC! Clock management, who is in charge of that, because the coordinators are to busy calling the game? The HC! Substitution, tired or banged up player needs to come out....who is in charge of that? The HC! Telling the ST coordinator, squib kick it and take a few seconds off the clock, so they don't get good field position and have time for a pass, TO and FG to win the game? The HC is! Who tells the QB, if he's open in the corner of the end zone, throw it to him for the win, if he's covered like a blanket, throw it away! The HC is! Some see it as micromanaging, it is...but, if done correctly and without undermining his staff in front of his players, it's a must...at least in my eyes. It's also a lot of fun! Even the 90 hour work weeks.
Now, that said, who thinks Schotty is doing all of these things, or who thinks he should?

Exactly. that is why Schott is an idiot. And he is not a qualified HC in NFL. For balancing out your defense condition, you should know about the time of possession, and your condition of defense. But he doesn't have any clue.

Me neither. That's why I like to joke about people thinking the next puppet will be better than the last puppet. We won't have a good HC until Jerry or Stephen get desperate enough to do another Parcels type hire. My hopes on that aren't high.

There won’t be another Parcells as long as Jerry is alive. He said after Parcells left that was the least fun he’d had as Cowboys owner and wouldn’t do that again.

My hope is with Stephen when Jerry crosses that silent sea - that Stephen will want to follow his own path. I’m just afraid he’s been in the environment too long to do that.

To be fair Jerry has hired 2 former Super Bowl winners (Parcells, McCarthy)

I think he only does that when even he can see how frustrated everyone is

Which means the next HC hire will probably be a big name

Because fan base morale at the moment is as low as I've seen it in a LONG time

All that may be true.
However, one can only do so much with the talent he has.
Maybe this team, after 30 years, still lacks enough talent to compete with the big boys.
And who’s job is it to acquire talent?

I think people have a Dak bias and taking a single pmay and extrapolating an entire philosophy out of it.

He should have trusted his QB and WR and at least tried for another fade.

Dak followed what he said. As a QB should. Schotty didnt say he sent in a couple of plays or change the play based on defensive look or anything like that. He called for a throw away.
Its not micro managing, its stupidity of a coach wenhave seen misma age clock and play calling all year and he had those moments last year too.

He went on to say, he let that call carry to the rest of the game and didn't tell special teams coach to kick it short, which left all of 7 seconds on the clock. Further he also didnt over ride or talk to his defensive coach when he had 6 at LOS and was covering the guys in the short out, which is utterly stupid.

This is a pretty medicore coaching group. There is no denying it. Its not their first time.
It happened again in Tampa game. Late adjustments after seeing Tampa keeps blitzing and he kept calling deep routes that take too much time to develop. He went to the short slabts finally in the 4th quarter.

I didnt see a read. I actuallymposted frame by frame as well. He stepped back and released the ball out of bounce. But at the moment he released the ball pickens was well covered. Only the ball almost out of bounce we see pickens open because DB dropped back seeing the ball and its flight (which he was watching the QB the whole time, as a good DB does). People tend to look at the endnof the play and argue pickens was open. After ball went out of bounce.

I watched the play and there were no other players open.

I dont think he was covering Anything. I dont buy into these type of idiotic conspiracy theories. He did follow during the week that they talked about it in their meetings and the players talked about it as well.

Same game he also.screwed up the kickoff. And he had multiple other screwups in the game. Its a pattern.

Why would schotty over coach Dak?

It tells me he doesn't know his team and his players.

I tend to blame schotty. He has underwhelmed. He is a Jr coach, was average OC. He was cheap, so jerry hired him.
Results show that he doesn't. He has mismanaged many a situations and has been outcoached often.
