You know the rules, you can't pick a player ranked higher then the Cowboys selections.

Pick #73...3rd round

Pick #137...5th round

We will use the CBS rankings for this go around.

Have Fun!

Pick #9...1st round: Gabe Carimi (OT) - Wisconsin

Pick #41...2nd round: Ahmad Black (FS) - Florida (he WILL be a FS in the NFL)

Pick #73...3rd round: Kenrick Ellis (DT/NT) - Hampton

Pick #105...4th round: John Moffitt (OG) - Wisconsin

Pick #137...5th round: Jake Kirkpatrick (C) - TCU

Pick #169...6th round: Jeremy Kerley (WR) - TCU

Pick #210...7th round (from Chargers): Coin flip between Anthony Allen (RB) - GT or Allen Bradford (RB) USC

In one draft, I have a) fixed the right side of the O-line for the, next 10 years, b) found a dynamic playmaker at both FS and NT (which lets us move Rat to DE), c) found Gurode's replacment in 2-3 years, d) found our return specialist, and e) found the perfect compliment to Felix (just like Greene/Tomlinson or Williams/Stewart).

Pick #9: Von Miller, OLB
Precarious spot but I like what I've seen from him, don't care about his size as long as his motor is high. Good kid too.

Pick #41: Marcus Cannon, OG/OT
Massive tackle that projects as a better OG in the NFL.

Pick #73: Benjamin Ijalana, OT/OG
Hurts me not to take my pet Kenrick Ellis here, but Ijalana is a bargain at this point in the draft.

Pick #105: Deunta Williams, FS
I'm not giving up on AOA, but at least AOA has the option of going to corner. I didn't like the idea of taking Williams in the 2nd but in the 4th, I'm down.

Pick #137: Casey Matthews, ILB
I get one of my pet cats afterall, Casey makes plays.

Pick #169: Mike Blanc, DE
I liked what I saw from him in the bowl game, benefited from playing next to Fairley but he did some good things.

Pick #210: Ryan Jones, CB
Top Ranked Div II CB, a project but highly productive. 6 picks (2 returned for TD's) and 19 passes defended this year. Runs well, good size.

I went ahead and decided to fix our 3 biggest issues from last year..O Line, Secondary, and Field Goals

Pick #9...1st round Tyron Smith T USC

Pick #41...2nd round Stefen Wisniewski C/G Penn State

Pick #73...3rd round Tyler Sash SS Iowa

Pick #105...4th round John Moffitt G Wisconsin

Pick #137...5th round Rashad Carmichael CB Virginia Tech

Pick #169...6th round Alex Henery K Nebraska

Pick #210...7th round (from Chargers) Marcus Gilchrist CB/S Clemson

What did I win?

1) Cameron Jordan (or Tyron Smith)
2)Quiton Carter (or DeMarcus Love)
3)Benjamin Ijalana (or Quon Sturdivant)
4)John Moffit (or Jaquizz Rogers)
5)Rashad Carmichael (or Casey Mathews)
6)Henry Hynoski (or John Clay)
7)Ryan Jones (or Marcus Gilchrist)

Just gonna try a different draft, would only happen assuming FS and RT were addressed in FA:

Pick #9...1st round Mark Ingram RB

Pick #41...2nd round Mark Herzlich LB

Pick #73...3rd round Kenrick Ellis DT

Pick #105...4th round John Moffit G

Pick #137...5th round Joe Lefeged SS

Pick #169...6th round Justin Rogers CB

Pick #210...7th round (from Chargers) Kai Forbath K

I like Herzlich, love his story and his work ethic, but I'm absolutely terrified to spend a significant pick on the guy.

Pick #9...Adrian Clayborn, DE
Pick #41...Demarcus Love, OT
Pick #73...Ras-I Dowling, CB
Pick #105...Deunta Williams, FS
Pick #137...Casey Matthews, ILB
Pick #169...John Clay, RB
Pick #210...Ryan Jones, CB

just by CBS rankings.
FWIW, I'm trading down (or up) if it comes to this.
Also would consider OG Ziemba..if not, have to hit FA market.

1 Derek Sherrod, OT 6-6 #305 Mississippi State -

I don’t how Dallas passes on this guy

why not have the flexibility of 2 athletic young bookends that are interchangeable

2 Rahim Moore, FS, UCLA 6-1 #195

3 Kristofer O'Dowd C/G USC 6-4 #300

4 Dwayne Harris, WR/KR, East Carolina 6-0 #205 – a Slot guy - 101 catches in ’10 for 1123 yards Avg. 11.6 - KO’s in ’10 41 for 839 yards - Career 266 catches for 3001 yards – KO’s 102 for 2374 yards

6 Karl Klug DE/DT Iowa 6-3 #270

7 Ryan Jones CB 5-11 #195 led the MIAA and ranked ninth in the nation with six interceptions this season, two of which he returned for touchdowns. Jones was credited with 13 pass break-ups giving him 19 passes defended - the fifth-highest tally in the nation. Jones played in 56 of Northwest's 58 games the last four seasons. Pick #137...5th round: Lee Ziemba, G

Pick #169...6th round: Henry Hynoski, FB

Pick #210...7th round (from Chargers): Jock Sanders, WR

Had to chose between Moffitt and Sheppard. Love both of them, Sheppard nudges it this time.

WE don't have two 7th rounders...

Pick #9...1st round - DE - Ohio St. - Cameron Heyward (I was immensly impressed with him in his bowl game. He is the disruptive presence we need at DE.)

Pick #41...2nd round - OT - Ark. - Demarcus Love (no way Jerry passes on a need from Ark.)

Pick #73...3rd round - WR - Miami - Leonard Hankerson (let RW go and move this kid into the slot.)

Pick #105...4th round - ILB - Miami - Colin McCarthy (The U gets back to back picks. This is the best ILB on the board and a tackling machine.)

Pick #137...5th round - CB - VT - Rashad Carmichael (reminds me of Brandon Flowers. A ball-hawking Hokie CB who is a willing and able tackler.)

Pick #169...6th round - OLB - Ohio St. - Brian Rolle (another nickle LB project)

Pick #210...7th round (from Chargers) - OT - LSU - Joseph Barksdale (another OT project with size and agility.)

Pick #9...1st round- Cameron Jordan, DE, Cal

Pick #41...2nd round- Rahim Moore, S, UCLA

Pick #73...3rd round- Kenrick Ellis, NT, Hampton

Pick #105...4th round- John Moffitt, G, Wisconsin

Pick #137...5th round- Rock Carmichael, CB, Virginia Tech

Pick #169...6th round- Josh Bynes, ILB, Auburn

Pick #210...7th round (from Chargers)- Kai Forbath, K, UCLA

I'm really tempted to grab Mark Ingram and then DeMarcus Love in the first two.. just I'd hate to lose Rahim Moore in the process. From the 5th round on, I simply picked for special teams possibilities, as the kind of physical
specimens that are diamonds in the rough (really how Dallas drafts late) are
not that accessible through fan scouting..

Pick #9...1st round- Nate Solder, OT Colorado (Big and smart)

Pick #41...2nd round- Rahim Moore, FS, UCLA

Pick #73...3rd round- Christian Ballard, DE, Iowa (Iowa lineman..)

Pick #105...4th round- Sione Fua, DT, Stanford (NT in their 3-4)

Pick #137...5th round- Rashad Carmichael, CB, Virginia Tech (Speed pick)

Pick #169...6th round- Dion Lewis, RB, Pittsburgh (Speed pick, ST, RB rotation guy)

Pick #210...7th round (from Chargers)- Marcus Gilchrist, FS/KR, Clemson (Speed, ST)

Pick #9...Cameron Heyward DE Ohio State

Pick #41...Rahim Moore S UCLA

Pick #73...Benjamin Ijalana OG Vilanova

Pick #105...John Moffitt OG Wisconsin

Pick #137...Casey Matthews ILB Oregon

Pick #169...Da'Rel Scott RB Maryland

Pick #210...Joseph Barksdale OT LSU

Pick #9... Derek Sherrod OT Mississippi State

Pick #41... Quinton Carter FS Oklahoma

Pick #73... Benjamin Ijalana OG Villanova

Pick #105... Kristofer O'Dowd C Southern California

Pick #137... Rashad Carmichael CB Virginia Tech

Pick #169... Alex Henery K Nebraska

Pick #210... Terrell McClain DT South Florida

Some interesting mocks here. I like the trend of taking two stud OL in the first 3 rounds. I'm also intreagued by some of the mocks that change it up in the first and have us taking Ingram.
