ESPN had a mock 1st round where the Cowboys end up with Sonny Styles at LB OSU and later in the first Damon Wilson the Edge out of Missouri . It bolsters that front seven the corner I like out of Clemson they had going to the Giants with one of two first rounders they get from the Jets , Jets grab Mendoza top pick at QB .

The FO will get a first hand look at all the Ohio St. talent on 12/31 at the Cotton Bowl (I’m assuming they’ll be there since it IS their stadium). Reese, Downs, Tate, Styles, etc… I’m betting they’ll even be looking at their MONSTER NT (McDonald) in case Clark doesn’t want to re-do his deal.

since barring a complete collapse we are not going to have a top 10 pick I am frankly amenable to trading back for more picks in the second and third rd. That is assuming there is someone willing to trade with us.

Perfect, those are the positions of need for the Dallas defense and those are the best players in the upcoming draft at those positions .2 of those 3 players to Dallas would be awesome. Ol Jerry needs to grab 2 or 3 big time free agents to fill in the other holes in this case DE OT and another safety and corner.

The Cowboys desperately need a defensive end, and in my opinion, Cashius Howell is the perfect fit for this line. It would be great if they selected him with the first pick. With the second pick in the first round, they should take the tackle, Kadyn Proctor, and put him at left tackle. They should cut Steele and move Guyton to right tackle.

I’ve seen Styles name as a probable Cowboy with Wilson the edge being the second first rounder for Dallas .

Unfortunately Reese will be long gone by our late teens pick and probably Downs too. A lot good choices will still be left allowing us to go BPA. Hopefully Styles is in that group. We desperately need a real MLB.
