Awesome, me too. I love the draft.
Sweat will end up being a first round pick regardless of what mocks have him now. I don't know if you watch Longhorn football but he made that Texas DL impossible to run against. And he is a legit pass rusher.

You draft the BPA. The front office has some work to do with extending Prescott, Lamb and Parsons in the off season. Do we resign our Centre, give an extension to T. Smith, cut a receiver, let a CB and RB walk? How does the team feel about our younger developing players. We can go in different directions, but I like OL because Dak plays much better when the OL gives him time in the pocket. Smith and Smith are rated 1 at their positions and Martin even though he is aging, is still a beast. Steele is still recovering from a MCL,ACL injuries and holding his own.

Reunite him with Overshown.

The Bears are taking Caleb Williams or whichever QB they deem as the best

I get that Fields has been playing better and he needs a lot of help, but the issue is he only has 2 years of affordable play left. By 2026, they're gonna have to commit long term on a huge deal and it just makes more sense to re-set the clock and go with Caleb Williams and get 5 years of affordable pay.

And then they can deal Fields to a number of teams towards the end of the first who feel like they may be a QB away...Detroit, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Tampa would all be interested.

And if the top 3 are QBs, then Marvin Harrison Jr. is the easy pick for Washington. Maybe the Bears trade up and Washington stockpiles more picks, but just based off value they take him

I LOL'd. Bravo.

I think DeJean's athleticism and versatlity would be ideal for the role Jayron Kearse plays now. I haven't seen him not be a solid tackler but I'll watch some more.
I wouldnt spend a premium pick there
Id move Bell to take over from Kearse, Overshown will be back next year and we draft a couple of LBs

Ill take one of those OL (OT or C) in rd 1
