Supposedly this was released by the team as the 1st official team depth chart.
It also takes into account for players on PUP, NFI, hold out Zeke. As they are not listed.

But it had Rico on it, so this was before his release.

Also very interesting the have Darius Jackson as 1st in the RB list.

But this will change soon, wonder if they will release a new one after the 1st PS game.

How is Jameill Showers still around?

I think it was on Inside TC Live with Brad and Mickey, they said Showers had his last year of eligibility on the PS. Which the max is 3. Seems like he has been around longer. But he did have last year on IR. So that gave him 4 years. Still seems longer.

So this year is his make or break year. Now if that PS eligibility is total time accrued or per team who knows.
I know the team said they liked his athleticism which is why they converted him to a S as he also ran QB scout teams before the conversion. As he would assimilate running QB's for the defense.

These unofficial depth charts mean zero at this time of the year. Unless Dallas is doing things differently than everyone else, there is no reason to read too hard into them.

Sometimes it is just to provide a figurative kick in the pants to someone who is not up to speed in camp. Other times it is to mask their intentions with certain players.

Rarely do these even match the amount of work and when the players are active in practices.

Well it is actually for the game in SF. So yes, means nothing in the overall scheme of things.

All teams have their unofficial depth charts prepared now for their first games this weekend. Still worthless in terms of gauging who will see the most time and where.

Agree. But just posted it to see what everyone thinks.

Chunn actually looked good when I went to Oxnard on Sunday. Not good enough to take a roster spot away from someone else, but he is clearly slimmed down and quicker from last year. I doubt he makes the 53 but he could be the PS RB again this year.

That is where I have him, on the PS, along with Jackson.

Darius Jackson and Jameil Showers are going to be like those Japanese soldiers that come out of the jungle after 30 years thinking World War II is still going on.

I don't disagree with that but Weber has looked much better than Chunn. Weber to me has been right there with Pollard as the 2 best backs followed by Jackson.

The rookies, Pollard and Weber, dont know the system. So with no Zeke, whom would you rather start in the regular season Jackson or Morris?

I'd say Jackson. Morris cant catch and cant block.
