Fine, we're closer to 1-3. That make you feel better? Fact is, that Carolina game coiuld easily have gone the other way. The only team we had a real handle on beating was Tampa in week 1.

The fact they only crossed the 40 yard line 2 times (psst, that means in Field goal range usually)? Or maybe it was the fact that they had the ball forever and just didn't put the pieces together?

Do you realize that our starting QB was not the 1st over all pick? Infact he was not even picked in the first round!

We're closer to 0-4 than 4-0. We're luck to be 2-2. While you can bring up a few plays here and there that make us 4-0 if they go our way, you can find just about the same few number of plays that easily make us 0-4 if they don't go our way in the 2 games we won.

How do you figure that? In the wins we won by double digits and in the loss last sec loses. Like most I'm disappointed that this team is 2-2 but to say this team is closer to 0-4 is purely bitterness on your part.

Here is some interesting trivia regarding close losses during a season and the Cowboys.

The 2000 5-11 team lost 5 games by a combined 19 points. That means they were 24 points shy, thats 3 TDs and a FG, from being 10-6.

That 2001 5-11 team was 29 points from being 10-6.

The 2002 5-11 team was 21 points from being 10-6. That means they lost 5 games by 16 points.

Anybody believe those teams were 10-6, talent-wise?

Exactly. During our 5-11 seasons, we used to hear about how close were each game to winning and just how close we were to having a winning record. That's what mediocre/bad teams do. We're mediocre.

You're right, 2 plays and Dallas could be 4-0. However, like we have seen for a couple of years now, Dallas seems unable to make those plays.
