1) OO DE

2) Xavier Cooper DT ( plays 3 behind Crawford, nickel inside, eventually grows into starting 1)

3) David Cobb RB

4) Damarious Randall FS/CB

5) Rob Havenstein RT

OO makes me nervous at 27.
I tend to think Haverstein can be had in 6th or 7th.
But overall, I wouldn't complain too much with that

Owa and Cooper are my 1st and 2nd rounders right now as well so love that...

Cobb is ok but I'm not crazy about him...can we get a similar running back later?

Randall is intriguing. Juco CB turned FS. A bit of a tweener but can't complain too much about that in the 4th. Will probably still be useful in sub packages

Not a fan of Havenstein at all...too slow footed for me.

to me OO is a 2nd rder, his injury history coupled with his lack of pass rush skills makes him a 2nd rd prospect.

I appreciate the work coming up with the mock, but you want Dallas to draft a backup in the 2nd round?

3 Pac-12 players, one being my boy DRandall? What's not to love?

I think Marinelli would like to have two 3tech types that would get co-starters in terms of snap count. They use two 3techs types in the Nickel which is about 50% of the snaps. With 3tech types playing both spots in the Nickel and the 1 spot in the base, that's about 75% of the snaps for a 3tech type player or a 3/1 combo player which Cooper might be.

Decent draft. I think Havenstein is a bit stiff and has limited upside but he will likely make it at least as a backup in the NFL which is not terrible from a 5th round pick.

I like Cobb, but I was hoping he would be available in the 4th.

I think Havenstein is much better than people think. He's weak and unathletic like Frederick according 40 and 225 reps.

I have not looked at his measurable(s), just going by game footage and Senior Bowl drills.

He reminds me a bit of a guy that is already on the roster, John Wetzel; although, Wetzel seems a little more athletic.

Tampa 2 1 Techs are usually not as big as most 4-3 1 Techs. A Tampa 2 1 Tech is supposed to play similar to a traditional 3 Tech in that their job is more gap penetration then gap control. The reason we dont do this is because we dont have the talent on hand.

I can easily see Cooper as a starting 1 Tech after camp. Same goes for Bennett if we draft him

I really liked the first two picks

nit sure what they do at RB

but looks good

me too...VERY nervous. I also wouldn't take Cobb in the third. He can be had in the 4th or lower. Plus, Jeremy Langford is the better, more explosive RB anyway.
