Does adding Charles Harris alone to the DE mix make us a top 10 pass rushing team in your opinion?

IMO YES

hes my guy now if Jerry an the rest of the brain trust just thought so

When I look at the game film on DraftBreakdown, Harris seems like a close combo of Barnett and McKinley in terms of size, initial quickness, and pass-rush moves. His spin move is already Freeney-esque. I'm betting he weighs at LEAST 10 lbs. more than McKinley (around 255) and has longer arms than Barnett. He just needs to get stronger in the run game to become a complete STUD................................which, OF COURSE, means he WON'T make it to 28

No way
We have one starter on the DL worth s darn and that is Collins
We need to add 2 difference makers to our DL and add a really really good MLB (smith if he recovers) to be even come close to a top 10 pass rush team

http://fanbuzz.com/story/lsus-pass-rush-is-much-improved-thanks-to-dt-davon-godchaux/

LSU’s pass rush is much improved thanks to DT Davon Godchaux

Skill-Set Summary: The NFL is looking for players who have interior pass-rushing skills, and that could be the best part of Godchaux's game. He has a quick first-step off the ball with the speed to shoot his gap. Godchaux can fire up the field and can close on the quarterback. LSU ran a lot of stunts at times last season, and Godchaux was effective at looping around and getting to the quarterback. Godchaux is at his best though when working up the field and causing disruption in the backfield in either the pass rush or run defense.

Against the run, Godchaux could work on holding his ground against downhill runs and also getting off blocks. He could stand to have his hands more active in the ground game and pass rush. He also will have to watch his pad level and avoid standing up too high.

Godchaux would fit best in the NFL as a three-technique defensive tackle in a 4-3 defense. He could use his speed to fire the gap and get disruption in the backfield. In a 3-4 set, Godchaux would fit better as a five-technique defensive end rather than the nose tackle spot LSU is playing him in. If Godchaux's listed measurements are accurate, he would have the size and length to be a five-technique. However, he might need more development at holding his ground and rushing against tackles.

Bug Howard is a combine invite, and has a 46 inch vertical leap. He may break the combine vertical record. Heard it here first. Add that to his 6'4 size and you don't have to be real accurate.
If you want him, you will have to draft him.

You think he's going to be strong enough to be more than a situational pass rusher year 1? He should be able to add the weight by year 2, but I do wonder how effective he will be in this defense at his weight on run downs right away.

that'a why he is ranked in 50's an 60's we will see

The strong and big receiver would likely go undrafted, but the senior will have a shot at the dream.

well you should not lump draftwired with 'them' it's for thinking men. the others are childs play
if you try draftwired and don't agree that is exponentially better i'd be shocked

If we take Harris who I'd like to get then we have to take one of the dbs in this deep class in round 2.
