1) If he is back next year, will he consider a full-time switch to a 3-4 DEF, built around Parsons at OLB? We are wasting his career.
2) Why did he leave the LB position so exposed going into the season?

I would be grateful if someone in the Dallas Media could ask him this?!!
Blame our GM and the people that get Quinn players for that one. he could have been screaming for LB's for all we know.

Bell is doing OK but is undersized.
While Clark has improved some, he's not good enough. Slow to read and react.
Bell at least has an idea of where to be and gets there quickly. Obviously his size will limit his effectiveness around the LOS at times. But I'd much rather roll with him than Clark.

I agree! I can't believe he didn't see that LVE and Overshown were both going to have season ending injuries.

Bell is doing fine BTW.
LVE is a neck stinger away from retirement. Overshown dropped in the draft because he was already injury prone in college.

Maybe not see it coming, but wasn't like it was a surprise.

I'm sure the folks who watch the All-22s will come out with more details, but yeah, definitely looked like Bell was a baller out there.

The defense is clearly suffering the loss of Diggs. If he is in he takes Brown or Smith out of the game and Bland takes the other out. I think having Lewis in there is a soft spot. Not that Lewis is awful, but he is just not as good as Diggs. It makes a difference.

I’m not sure that’s the case. Quinn doesn’t like traditional LB’s because he likes more speed. If he wanted a LB that was realistically availible I think Jerry would have got them

LBs aren’t the issue. The issue is 90 gets paid a lot of money to do nothing at a critical position.

I think the 3-4 would be perfect for what we are trying to do on defence. We have Mazi and Hankins. Perhaps there's a way that he can start mixing some more 3-4 concepts in this year. I know the 4-3 is a traditional Cowboys defence concept, but if the 3-4 is a better option than the 4-3, I think that's what we should shift towards. Especially with Parsons so that he can have easier access to the QB.

lewis used to cover TEs like glue, since his injury hes been horrible, half the time he seems like hes jogging.
Multiple times we had the eagles in 3rd in long for him to give up an easy catch.

i dont think we have the NT nor linebackers to do a 3-4

Not surprising that the run defense has improved since LVE went down.

Clark and Bell are much more aggressive and don't sit back and wait for RBs to come to them.
