That's the key. Can Barber become a lead blocker?
I think our base set should be 2 TE's 2 WR's 1 RB. It puts our best talent on the field.
However when we do go 2 backs, Barber at FB has a lot of appeal.
I think Barber has the skill set to be a very good FB. At 6-0 220 it wouldn't appear that way, but you'd have to agree he's just about the strongest 220lb RB your likely to find.
We just have to sell him on it.
Explain to him a plan of equally splitting the RB time between him and Jones.
If he can master the FB position it could get him on the field for an addition 20-30% of our snaps. That in of its self should be enough incentive for him.
