I doubt he gets past the second round. Who is the highest rated defensive player on the board right now? Basham? Anyone left with 1st round grade
That would be a relief for me. He was downgraded for all the coverage busts they had. The coverages get harder in the NFL. I would rather have Johnson in the third. Molden is the highest rated at 6.33 followed by Levi at 6.31 and Joe Tryon 6.31 Aaron Robinson 6.3 Jamar Johnson 6.3 Joseph Ossai 6.3 .

Sources Tell Us

"As the veteran of that secondary, he needed to do a better job of making sure everyone was on the same page. There were so many busts from game to game out of that unit. But I like his ball talent and his overall field toughness." -- Area scout for NFC team

grant
basham
cox
levi o
any of those 4 would be excellent additions to our defense.

ohio st ol wyatt davis
michigan ot jaylen mayfield
either of those 2 could be options for the oline.
some think davis could go mid-late rd1.

but i think we address the defense again.

That's what makes it fun. There are no wrong answers at least for about three years. It's fine for someone to like a different player better half of the fun is the discussion. It's when people think their big board is set in stone that tempers start to flare. I guess he's a pretty good DB so maybe if you put him in with a veteran like Kazee he could get the coverage set.

i also like your pick...levi o.
he just looks like a cowboy.
smart.
tough.
good quickness.
stout vs the run and can get after the qb.
i'd be more than ok if he were the pick.
this is really a nice board right now for us.
options at s dt de lb and ol.

He's supposed to be really strong and that makes a big difference when these guys get to the NFL. It just seemed like our defensive line got pushed around in quite a few games last year. It almost reminded of the team when Jimmy Johnson took over and our DTs were getting pushed five yards back so he went out and got Tony Casillas.
