With out top 2 CB's injured and questionable, I think we'll go with 6. Personally I'd like to see them keep Butler and Thomas and cut McCann.

I agree - McCann is absolutely lost with the ball in the air. I'd take Ball, Butler and Thomas over him.

I'd also not put McCray on the team as he has no potential to develop as a player in the secondary.

Maybe. But the team clearly already has roles for them this year. They are core special teams players (according to the third game), plus McCann can return kicks and McCray has a position in one of Ryan's formations as the dime LB. They are in.

McCann is a pretty bad returner - his one return for a TD was a bit of an anomaly even though it was a very alert play.
