Fix the OL and the Run Defense and we will be ready.
Inside out!
To win consistently and give yourself a chance in the tournament as ol sorry parcels would call the playoffs, you have to have a strong OL and DL.
Dak is good when he has the time, the backs will have holes to run through the receivers will be open or have time to get open. The Dl will stop the run or slow it down considerably and pressure the QB, that helps the back end.
McCarthy play calling is good as well as Schotty, the Special Teams are good.
We can’t do anything about Jerry and his ways, just have to ride with him.

i like your post but it won't go well in here, too simple, and positive, good luck LOL FYI our OL isn't broke, we just need to get our players back... i mean you can cover up one loss along the line with one sub, but 3 at the same time playing each other that's what it looks like...

and i don't care what people say NO team in the nfl could have a functioning offense missing 3 PB starting players the offensive line at the same time.. and then you have tyler smith still .... so he's rusty in his first full game... You can't cover that many up.. missing 3 starters having one back playing his first game and Steele off major injure, right no reason that the d keyed al night on Dak easily pass rushing with base 4 man line and paying max zone converge which our WRs couldn't get open regular...tighter window throws like last yean, right easy to play offense that way.

defense was horrible, penalty's killed the game and yet the INT is the big story LOL

Fixing the OL fixes the run defense because it will allow them to play with the lead.

The only consistent run defense in the NFL is forcing teams into throwing the ball.

I think I said this about the run defense in February of pretty much every year in the last who knows how long...
As far as the OL goes I also agree but it's more a depth thing and to expect us to have 3 good backups is possibly a little crazy so I'll just assume you mean get our OL healthy.

Yeah you’re right people in this world want to make everything complicated

Thank you, yes I agree with you. Also have you noticed that some way some how every time we play the cardinals some flukey weird stuff happens, it doesn’t matter how good we are, or where we play them, I hate playing them, I have seen this same stuff way back when they had Jim Hart, Terry Metcalf, and Green.
Yes it is a simple problem to fix but like you said this post will not go well, people in this world like to believe everything is complicated or they make everything complicated, football is simple

I’m not concerned about the RZ offense either, it will work itself out.
You never get a real read on team identity until after the 5 th game of the season.
Defenses are always ahead so they can show early and still evolve throughout the season

The o-line will be fixed if they can get healthy. Dan Quinn also needs to tell his guys to stop only thinking about sacks. These guys weren't setting the edge last week instead rushing wide leaving huge holes. Stop worrying about stats and you stop the run better.

Learn how to stop mobile QB's. They rarely have had success doing this the past 30 years.
Let's just keep it the last two years with Dan Quinn in this defense so that way you know we're on fair playing ground we don't need to go back decades... But yes not just a mobile quarterback but a running back-to-back it up and a willingness and patience to do it all game no matter what until we suck up our defense and then they hit us for the big chunk plays behind us in the pass game... This is the way the Eagles have been successful against Dan Quinn's defense here the last couple years it's like a blueprint and if you're willing to stick with it and you have that type of quarterback you have a shot to beat us the problem is the penalty's we would have won that game, maybe an ugly win had it not been for the penalties.

Its funny you say that, we had the same problem last year and the players were calling out the DL for not being gap sound and playing for sacks.

Truly, there’s a difference with QB play, you have the traditional pocket passer (statue) generally they have a big arm can be accurate and can have a quick release, old school QBs come immediately to mind, Dan Marino, to Tom Brady but the intelligence is the key, quick release makes them even better.
Scrambling QBs Staubach, Fran Tarkenton, Steve Young was in the beginning of his career, the old Tom Landry statement that he said about Staubach early in Staubach’s career is “He runs because he did not understand how to play the position “).
Running QBs, Tom Kandry’s statement really fits them. Examples of running QBs are Vince Evans, Kordell Stewart, Lamar Jackson, I even put Josh Allen in this category, Randall Cunningham, Jalen Hurts, Fat boy McNabb, Kyler Murray crosses between running and scrambling.
Mobile QBs are the ones that can move around in the pocket, manipulate it, and run when they need or have to, but they are pass first and some run to pass, like threatening to run to make DBs commit then throw on them. With these guys you have quick release and quick decisions and accuracy, Mahomes, Russell Wilson when he was clicking, Joe Burrows, Herbert, Lawrence.
Dak in my opinion is like Aikman, he really needs a good OL, defense running game, and adequate receivers.
That’s how I categorize the different QB play

Here’s something that I see people are forgetting the eagles are not dominating us!
Go back and see how many times they have beaten us since Dan Quinn has been here as a matter of fact how many times have they beaten us since Dak took over?
The eagles have good talent but they are not dominating I see more mistakes by opponents against them that helps the eagles win. Historically the eagles always have a salty defense always have I have been watching the cowboys for 50 something years now, my hatred for them them, the giants , Commanders (will always be the Commanders in my mind) and the Cardinals who were originally in our division.

We need better play at QB and better weapons. Outside of Lamb and Pollard not impressed.
