Maybe its just me, but when I watched the Seahawks game I didn't see this 2 tight end offense much if any at all. I saw Fasano lined up in the backfield as a fullback but I didn't see both on the line at the same time. Did anyone else notice this, or is Bill just not tipping his hand in the first preseason game?

I think the 2 TE offense is based on personnel not formation if I read Adam correctly.

Saturday's game was very vanilla on offense

I will say, though, I was underwhlmed with Fasano

Harder to use it when your top 2 WRs are down and your starting QB is wearing a ball cap instead of a helmet.

Not making excuses, just saying the offense hardly resembled what we'll be playing this year.

Welcome to the board! I am still one of the ones who were against this pick. This pick, IMO, belonged to an offensive lineman.

We could've gotten thousands of TE's later on in the draft. However, I'm a believer in supporting whatever the team does (most of the time). I am pulling for Fasano to do good things. I know he's a rookie, but he needs to contribute atleast in the blocking.

Thats what I noticed that if you don't have wrs that scare people they just put everybody in the box and it shuts it down, but agree that Cowboys in preseason are boring, no motion or any real season pass plays, kept waiting for Romo to chuck the thing deep just to see what he's got-I mean its preseason anyway why not air it out a little..

There were a few plays where they were in a true 2 TE set, but most of the time Fasano was lined up in the FB position.

You said it yourself; he's a rookie. Judging him now is ridiculous.

Bill not tipping his hand. If you have it, watch last year's preseason. Even in third preseason game the announcers (Spagnola and Laufenburg) were saying that Parcells needs to open up the offense at least a little bit to get them better in sync.

I'm a little nervous about Fasano's blocking, but we have yet to reach the tip of the tip of the iceberg as to what the 2 TE set can do with two very capable pass receiving TE's.
