I think Pickens is a bit more likely to play on a second tag or be traded after this season than receive a long term deal from the Cowboys.

Do we have any worthy? Not exactly trying to be funny or sarcastic. No one jumps to mind (although I understand some may have contractual motivation). With all the turnover, I'd like to see some on field performance before new deals.

You've got to pay Big Q, and I personally think they're morons if they don't pay Pickens.

Other than that, I think they are pretty good. I would say that our other star, long-term core players are Dak, Lamb, Tyler Smith, and they're on long term deals.

I think he'll get traded. But you never know Jerry loves offense. Wouldn't shock me to see a prominent defensive player get cut or traded and then they extend Pickens.

It may be a matter of team success that determines if Pickens is extended. I don't believe they are inclined to make it happen now, but IF*** we actually accomplished something beyond the divisional round this year it may force their hand.

another "highest contract in NFL history!" Why do they always say this as if it's something special, it'll be broken often!

Possibly. It depends on how large of a factor Pickens would be in such a run.

IMHO I would be looking to get draft pick/player compensation for Pickens regardless after this season. Use that pick on a WR if they want to go that route. But keeping the cap out of the ditch is important.
