20 Questions: 19, Who will Emerge as RB 2

Blue?
Why not?
Yet, Malik intrigues...
Oh, dash me buttons if I can't decide!

I was pretty encouraged with what I saw out of Blue in the last game. If his roadblock was patience with the holes and they coach him up then he could be productive. I want to see Blue as RB1 in the preseason, keep Kevonte on the bench because we can’t have him get injured

I agree, it would be sweet if Williams could get some rest , to save his legs. I love Leupke, I think he needs to be used a little more at times especially in short yardage plays running the ball. And I like fullbacks who are good receivers who can get you some first downs when you really need one.
We would never know how good he is we don't use him like I feel we could

Mafah has a style very similair to Williams and Blue is the perfect change of pace back, gotta utilize his speed
does he still have that speed?? I want to see blu and mafah and davis etc in PS lets see what they look like there.
Coaches have to know how to utilize speed players also, if they dont that speed wont mean much.
And rb's have to be able to pass protect too.

RB2 doesn't really matter. It's mostly just packages for players.

Mafah will likely be the true backup, but the best thing for this offense would be for Blue to be engaged on like 35% of snaps. Blue is the one with a unique skillset.
Blue has not done enough to even say he has a skillset lol.

Davis.
Not flashy. Not terrible. Decent at what he does.
Again.

I don't see much hope in Israel Abanikanda. I guess having 70 yards rushing and a 3.2 average over his first three years will do that. Outside of his rookie year, when he didn't do much, he's done nothing, just bouncing from team to team. We're already his fourth team.

I remember when some really wanted us to draft him. Just shows that you never know.

Yeah, I wanted to draft him. His biggest flaw has always been he runs too upright.

But he can run. We'll see how it goes.

Blue brings something the other guys don't.

He probably isn't the #2 *starter*, but he should be #2 in carries every game that he is healthy.
