What is your worst memory of the 2005 Dallas Cowboy season thus far?

I have several but I lost the most sleep over Santana Moss catching touchdown passes of 39 and 70 yards in the final four minutes, and the Commanders winning 14-13.

Damn I am still crying about that game!:banghead:

That pretty much does it for me. It made me literally nauseous for a couple of days how the team allowed that game to slip through their fingers.

Yup. Worst memory this year by far. There have been some heartbreaking losses, but that one just tore the pacemaker out, beat it to a pulp, and then some.

No contest.....The Washington Game! The implications from that loss could also haunt the Cowboys in their quest for the playoffs.

1. The Moss fiasco leading to our loss to the Skins.

2. Bledsoe's INT. leading to our loss to Seattle.

Those two games were brutal losses.

Ron Dayne's run in overtime against us on Thanksgiving. I really thought we were the better team on the day and held them well until this. Getting run on like that by someone nicknamed "No Gain" stings worse then a jab to the nose.

That's exactly what I said at the time, that losing that game just cost us the division title.

I HATE losing to the Commanders any time but that one hurt more than any in recent history.

My worst memory is similiar to many of yours, but very, very worse. The night before I left to deploy to Iraq, I witnessed Moss scorch our defense twice.

To make matters worse, I flew from DFW to BWI and enroute to my deployment. As you might guess, I was on the flight with many of the Commanders fans who attended the game. As we waited for the flight to board, they were singing, chanting, taking pictures and acting like a bunch of idiots.

They got so stupid, the police had to come and settle them down, not once, but twice.

Us Cowboys' fans were saving face, though. One guy said that it was okay and we should let the Skins fans be happy because they just won their Super Bowl. They sure as hell acted like it.

Then, I had to sit on the plane for hours listening to them rant and rave about their lucky win.

Trust me, I've been waiting for the Boys to get their revenge all season long.

The WSH TD( We woulda started off the season 3-1 with our only loss to OAK, We would be 9-4 instead of 8-5 and we would only need 1 win in our final 3 games to get in the playoffs, instead of 2 of our next 3.
WE ARE OUT FOR REVENGE ON SUNDAY, SKINS BETTER BE READY.

Plus who do you think has a better chance to go farther in the playoffs anyway?
DALLAS DOES!!!!

14-13 loss tears me up, i hope we go into fed ex and whoop some......
you know the rest
GO BOYS!!!!!!!!

Washington loss hands down for me too. I hadn't hurt over a loss like that one in a long time.

Flo going down w/a torn ACL

That was a sad time when Flo got hurt. The impact of his injury has been lingering. I really believe his injury had more effect on our team's offensive game planning then the average fan realizes.

I would say Flozells injury is an extremly close #2 bad memory.....just a little behind the deadskins beating us for CrazyCowboy! :suxskins:

My worst feeling during the 2005 season was during our final drive against the Giants in the Meadowlands. Our offensive ineptitude was so depressing. I thought for sure our season was over.

I didn't mind the Skins loss as much as most of you for two reasons. First, it was so early in the year I knew we could recover. Second, we utterly dominated them the whole game and I was really excited about the possibilities that lay ahead.

thanksgiving. i made the trip. was having a good time throughout the game. then we miss the the short fg. i thought ok no problem we can still beat them. then ron dayne gets free on the long run. man that has got to be the sickest feeling in the world. i was looking for bronco fans to start a fight with.
