i was bored so i decided to go back in the past and look at the 2005 nfl mock drafts to see how accurate the experts were. It was a great draft for us, so that is why i decided to look back.

The first one i thought was a little more accurate. They got the first four overall picks correct and they also had us taking Ware and Spears which was true, as well as the Commanders taking Campbell at #27.

The second one still had us taking Ware at #11, but it also had us taking Erasmus James at #20 while Spears went #23 to Seattle.

Not that it matters much now, just thought i would do some research.

I remember all the Derrick Johnson hype.

So many on this forum loved the kid.

It seems like that with every Texas defender... every year there's a can't miss stud who is average at best in the NFL. Makes me wary of the safety that some many want.

Looks like we definitely got 1 of the top 2 guys projected to go in Round 1.

Ware and A Rodgers.

Definitely want to go after Nate Allen from USF. Kids out of USF have been players lately.

There are a lot of Texas homers on the board. That's why everyone wants Jordan Shipley.
