I was bored, so I took a look at our team on most positions(not ST)

Pos.: Starter(s): Changes need to be made:
QB Bledsoe Draft new QB in 2007 Draft
RB Jones/Barber Good As Is(Will Improve with O-Line)
WR Glenn/Johnson/Crayton Draft Younger WRs
TE Witten Good As Is
OL Flo/Allen/Johnson/Gurode/Draft Draft and get a new OL coach

CB Newman/Henry/Glenn/Reeves Good As Is
SS Williams Good As Is
FS Draft Draft
LB Ware/Singleton/etc. Draft/Free Agency(ILB)
DL Canty/Ferguson/etc. Good As Is

K Free Agent/Suisham Vinatieri

The ones in BLUE are positions I consider to be a problem in the future, however aren't too much of a problem now

The ones in RED are positions I consider to be a problem right now, and must be addressed this offseason.

If I missed anything, it would be nice if anyone were to help. Suggestions would be nice.

I agree with QB, RB, TE. With WR, yes, we need to inject some youth in there and prepare for the future. So I agree.

OL, I think more might need to be done than just RT. Rivera should stick around until the preseason. I think he can do something with another year to train after that back problem. I think you need ti find a new guard (young) to prepare for the 2007 year. Center, something must be done anywhere. Or Al has to get his game up.

CB, I'm fine. I'd like another young guy to groom to replace Glenn since he's up there. A solid nickel unless Reeves steps in. FS, I like Davis as a STeamer and backup. I'm a big fan of Mike Huff from Texas, but OL might be more important. SS, Roy with Davis/Berry-O/Pile that can fill in, I like it.

OLB, Ware-Fujita-Singleton-Burnett is nice. You give Burnett more time, like with James, he'll step up. I'd rather let Singleton go, sign Abraham for OLB, move Burnett inside. Then inside you have James-Burnett-Fowler-Shanle. Solid group with backups. Maybe draft a kid or sign a vet to replace Shanle and add some leadership in there.
DT, Glover is the man, but he has to go I think. Ferguson and Johnson can work, find a 3rd fat slob to fit in there. You don't need numbers from the nose, you need a clog.

DE, Canty-Spears-Ellis is solid. Let Coleman walk. Check out this new guy Glymph and the newer guy we signed. I think if one can fit, saves money for another name elsewhere.

At O-Line...you keep Adams-Petitti-Tucker-find a tackle, keep Rivera-Allen-Gurode-Peterman, find a guard since Gurode can back up center. At center, keep Johnson, sign Bentley or find someone that can block.

Since you want and have Koren Robinson as the kick returner, you should put him in your wr slot too.

Bentley and Hutchinson are not going anywhere. Both will be franchised. Do not bring in TO. Abraham will turd out once he gets paid. What about this instead?

QB - Bledsoe, Charlie Whitehurst (3rd round)
HB - Jones, Barber, and Thompson
FB - Polite and best FB in 5th round. Maybe Shawn Willis
TE - Witten, Campbell
WR - Glenn, Johnson, Koren Robinson (FA), Copper, and Crayton
O Line - Adams, Charles Spencer (2nd round) Johnson, Gurode or Allen if he restructures, and Marcus McNeil (1st round)
DEs - Spears and Canty. Ratliff and Coleman rotate.
DTs - Ferguson, Thomas Johnson, maybe Willie Blade
OLBs - Ware and Kalimba Edwards (FA) Burnett backup
ILBs - James and Akin Adoyele (FA) Fujita backup
CBs - Newman, Henry, and Glenn
SS - Roy Williams, Keith Davis
FS - Jason Allen (4th Round) injury will cause him to fall. Don't know if he will come back 100% though. If he does he will be the steal of the draft. Beriault backup
K - Hopefully Vanderjagt. Colts will have to try and lock up Wayne and maybe James. Overpay for a kicker if we must.

If we trade Ellis and Glover for a 1st round to maybe Denver we could get Max Jean Gilles to play the other guard position or a real NT like Gabe Watson. which other one is still there. Nothing but youth this way with the FAs all being under 27 except the kicker.

Sign TO and Bledsoe will become the league MVP next year. TO will make the current o-line look all-pro when he keeps defenses honest by having to double team him on one side and Glenn on the other. Unstoppable.

Look at the Texans. Andre Johnson, Jabar Gaffney, Corey Bradford, and Jerome Mathis. Carr can't get them the ball from his back. Besides if we start underperforming Owens will revert to his old turd self.

Unfortunately we don't have a 4th so Jason Allen in the 4th is out. We gave it up to get Canty. I do think we have an extra 6th

Forgot about that. I know a Gover trade would at least bring a 4th though. I know we could use Ellis to get a high 3rd at least.

I'm filing this thread away, just to see how many of you qualify for General Manager.
