I could easily see the Boys drafting a linebacker, corner, offensive tackle, safety or receiver. I wouldn't be surprised with any of those. I also can't pick a definite player the Cowboys would target at each position other than maybe receiver.
In your opinion, this is the most unpredictable draft since.....
2005? Was pretty obvious it was going to be either DeMarcus Ware or Shawn Merriman.
2004? Everyone knew the Cowboys had to pick a running back. We were shocked at which RB they decided to go with, but they did seek the position we all thought they were going after.
2003? Terence Newman or DeWayne Robertson, with a few folks rooting for Leftwich. Pretty apparent who we were going to grab after the Jets traded up.
2002? The choice was Quentin Jammer or Roy Williams.
2001? The famous Quincy Carter and Tony Dixon draft. I'm not counting this one, though, since we didn't have a first rounder. Very hard to predict the first selection when it's in the second round.
2000? See above, although we did know the Cowboys deserately needed help at corner.
1999? The Ebenezer Ekuban draft. 1998? The year we passed Randy Moss and went with Greg Ellis.
Or would you say this is one of the easier first rounds to predict? I guess that's a sign that your team is improving when there isn't a gaping hole that needs to desperately be filled like in recent seasons.
