One year removed from last years training camp, and guess what?

We still have the same questions

Offense

is Romo the real deal?

JJ, Barber? who should start

Will JJ return to form

Will he have a breakout year

OL? will Flozell step it up

RG, how will he do

Will the unit be able to block?

Will T.O. distract the team

Will t.O. be as good as advertised?

Defense

Will Roy be better?

will he play closer to the LOS

Will Henry return to form?

Can we find a LB outside of Ware?

Will Ellis be able to play?

Will our DE step it up?

Who's gonna back up Fergy?

Same questions different year. Yea we have a new HC, some new coordinators. But we solved nothing from last year to this year. Answered no questions. Will we finally answer them this year? or will we go into 2008 asking the same things?

We are going to win our 6th Super Bowl this year.....that is the big difference that I see.

The only guarantee is death and taxes having said that I'm at least optimistic about our chances

Of those offensive questions, they were more severe last summer. Much more so, if you ask me. We weren't asking if Romo was the real deal, we were asking if he could complete a regular season NFL pass, and if Bledsoe could last the season. If you can't see the differences in the situations at QB from last year to this year, I can't help you. Same goes for running back. It doesn't matter if JuJo "returns to form," which I assume means half of his rookie year. We KNOW MBIII has the stuff to impact games in the NFL now, and we KNOW JuJo doesn't need to carry the load.

As far as the offensive line is concerned, there's a mountain of difference in the situation at RG, almost literally, between a 34-year old back surgery victim and a hometown guy with a whole lot to prove. I'd say in 2006, by the end of the year the line was playing better than they had since BP's first year at the very least.

On defense, we don't really have to wonder if Roy is going to play closer to the LOS, because Wade has already told us as much. And with a couple of REAL FS's next to him, who knows how his season will end up?

If you take a closer look, those questions you posed are slowly beginning to answer themselves. Almost all of them in positive directions, too.
