Wow, the 49ers and Cardinals will be playoff contenders next year if they spend wisely. Both teams have some good young talent.

Wow.

What a mess Parcells left behind. No youth, no cap room, he really whored us.

Curse you Bill Parcells. And curse you New Jersey. You smell like paper.

  • Dallas Cowboys
$21.5 M

  • NY Giants
$15.7 M

  • Philadelphia Eagles
$12.4 M

  • Washington Commanders
$-2.388 M

With some releases, Bledsoe, Rivera, it should get up to around 26-27. I heard today, that if TO is released before June, we save over 6 million in cap space.. I would give that some consideration as well. Either way,, we are in great shape this year to get what we need for the new HC.

Dude if it wasn't for Lee and Payton, the Cowboys wouldn't have had a QB either. Dallas is very lucky that both those guys wanted Romo.

Yes because we all know they had all the power to pick players, and Parcells had nothing to do with Romos success

Who is Romo taking to the probowl? Payton wanted to spend a 4th round pick on Romo, BP let him come in as an undrafted free agent.

and BP decided to keep him for 4 years

What does who someone takes to the probowl have to do with anything?

To try and give Parcells NO credit at all for Romo is ludicrous

28 Baltimore Ravens $5.7 M

Not a whole lot of money to be using that Franchise tag.

I didn't say that, but I think if Payton and Lee would have been somewhere else, Romo would not have been a Cowboy. BP was not as intrested in Romo as those two guys were. I will give BP credit for not trading him to the Saints this year, because Payton was prepared to give up a high pick.

Its not as if Parcells had never heard of the kid, Jeff Ireland said he was on our draft board rated as a top 5th round prospect I believe.

Unfortunately we don't have anyone to replace TO if we let him go. Free agency isn't going to be filled with those kind of WR's either.
