Lets say Tuna decides to come back again next year, BUT Bill Cowher and Jeff Fisher are both available...who do you take?

On one hand you could have probably one of the top coaches of all time who built this team and knows them the best for one more year, one more run at it....on the other you could be set for years to come with two of the top coaches in football today.

Whats you choice?

I'd say stick with Tuna for as long as he wants to stay here.

Wait... Tuna wants to stay??

I guess it depends on how the season plays out, but if he wants to come back, we play like last week, and he looks as happy as he did last week, then I'd doubt it'd be an issue.

I hope we don't fire BP simply because Fisher and Cowher are available. There are good coaching options it seems like every year.

Jeff Fisher in a heartbeat,,,,,,!!!! I hate Cowher.

I keep Parcells as long as he wants to stay. I like Fisher. I think he is in a bad place with the Titans. They need to allow him to make decsions on personal rather than have the owners stick their head into it. The whole McNair, Voleck, Young debacle and even handing of the other players. Young needed McNair and they should have kept him. One thing I wouldn't do though is let Parcells leave (walk away from the game) I would hire him as a personal directory/scout. I would want him in my front office.

If I were going to go to a college coach then why not Greg Schiano from Rutgers? Any guy who could turn that team into winners must know what the heck he is doing. :laugh2:

It's not out of the question for either Cowher or Fisher laying out a year and waiting for the right job...

Just because they are available doesn't mean they have to coach again immediately...

If they knew they had a possible job in place for the next year, they could have a good year of studying the personnel and schemes to see what they have when they step in.

I'd want Cowher and offer big money to bring along his DC. He plays the 3-4 and plays it aggressive. Also willing to use offensive players in different ways like Randle El, etc. He'd also ensure our Cowboys stay a tough team; Steelers are a hard nosed team and want our Cowboys same way. Besides I think he leaves Steelers after 06 season and takes year off just relaxing with his family in Carolinas somewhere. After that he might be lured back into coaching or analyst on TV.

Fisher is a good coach but handicapped by his FO; took his team to 1 SB? I don't think there there will be lack of quality candidates for Cowboy job once Parcells decides retire since JJ has now shown willingness keep hands off as much as he used too. But JJ will only hire a quality big name coach; no more unknown middle of the pack kind of guys. He could be interested in Payton if he does a good job in NO.
