I love me some draft -- but there is no way in hell I'd rewatch a draft

I could possibly re-watch the 2005 draft, really addressed some of our teams biggest needs and didn't reach. One of BPs best.

Man I could. If for no other reason than to see what they said about guys after they've played a year.

I watched my first draft in 1982 and began taping the draft a couple of years later.

In February or March of each year, I would re-watch the previous year and I loved it. I used to tape over the previous year and wish I hadn't done that. I started using a new tape each year in the early 1990s and still have several on VHS.

It was fun to go back and look at the evaluations by the analysts. The reaction from the Jets and Giants fans was always great, too.

I can't remember when I quit taping them. I'll have to go back and look.

Those Tuesday drafts (6 a.m. Mountain time start) are treasured memories for me. When it became so popular that they moved it to the weekends and pushed the starting time back, it lost a little of its magic for me.

The NFL network crew thought we would be getting a db or a wr.
No clue about who we were getting.
The last 4 or 5 years I have not been suprised by who we have picked with our first pick.
Someone always leaks out some information about who we are wanting.
The closer we get to the draft you will see at least 3 players who we are high on for that first pick.
My most dissappointing 1 st round pick in recent years was when we drafted Carpenter over Manny Lawson.
Since then we have moved Carpenter inside and drafted another OLB in Spencer.

I'm kinda hoping we target that Spencer kid from Purdue...we need some pass rush boost

on the 2nd day, we just have to take a kicker

With Ellis' status unclear at this point, we need to upgrade our pass rush.

Hos really likes that kicker out there in the dessert so I hope we go that way.

I think Hos may ban you if that happens.

We should select a fullback in one of the late rounds. He has to be a great blocker and be able to catch the ball out in the flats. AND! AND! He has to love eating crickets. Raw.

championship.

you would think that after having a year to edit the presentation, they would have been able to omit that lapdog that was with Quinn............

Too bad we didn't get the "great blocker" part. Just sayin'.
