At this point strength of schedule is subjective.

No one thought that playing the Saints a year ago would be a tough game.

By late season strength of schedule will be completely different. If a key player or two goes down it will change things completely, say Peyton and Brady for example (not wishing for injuries, just using an example).

Congratulations for being the first to point out the obvious. ;)

Better than being the first that posts about strength of schedule in April. Prior to the draft, not to mention there will be a few more FAs in a couple months... Obviously.

You realize strength of schedule doesnt change after the draft and training camp or even during the season right? Its just based on teams records from the year before.

Absolutely it changes during the season. You are kidding right ?

Tom Brady and Peyton go down you think that the strength of schedule doesnt change ? pfffttt.

Commanders had one of the toughest schedules last year
(or the year before cant recall for sure, maybe both), but when it was initially talked about is was in the mid-range.

Same thing happened with the Terps basketball team this year.

Have you been under a rock? The past 2 days in sports news have been all about the NFL schedule. People are gauging who has an easier schedule, etc. The strength of schedule going into the season isn't some kind of accurate predictor -- it's just the strength of schedule based on the previous year's record. My goodness. Again, thanks for pointing out the obvious. It's too bad you couldn't recognize other things that are obvious.

I agree, strength of schedule at this stage is meaningless. Until we see how teams are performing it is difficult to know who hard or easy a teams schedule may be.
