Desean Jackson would solve all our wide receiving problems if we're drafting high enough. He probably would have been the first WR taken this year if he came out. Fast as Ted Ginn given all the TD's he's scored on punt returns and runs polished routes. In fact, it was a coup when he got away from Pete Carroll and USC and went to CAL.

This is the infamous "PICK UP YOUR JOCK!" Sportscenter highlight that I love. He would look awesome with a star on his helmet!!

It's too early to even think about.

But the guy that looks a lot like Calvin Johnson to me is Malcolm Kelly at OU. He's 6-4 200 and can probably run in the 4.4 range and catches everything close to him. Can really jump high. He's the most physically gifted receiver OU's ever had.

over McFadden?

no way

I dont want to see any more of these 2008 draft threads because there is one guy and one guy only that we need to have our sights on...

I think the only way we get McFadden is if Cleveland is really bad and goes 2-14. Which could happen. But McFadden is probably the number 1 pick.

Actually, at this moment looking next year, we need a WR more than a RB.

McFadden can be a WR if you want him to be. The guy is a star.

Use both first rounders to trade up. :D

We'll have to see what happens next year. I think this draft at worst solidifies us in 2008 because we can fill whatever need with our 2 first round picks. This year we didn't really have a big need outside of an extra pass rush.

Its almost too perfect...

Just when JJ requires a big contract...

out with Jones and in with McFadden with Barber to cushion to transition.

Spectre, I agree that Jason Hill could be the steal of the draft. Another reason to love Jackson is that he plays in a pro style offense already.

You are forgetting about Manningham.

Diffrent kinda reciever my friend

Jackson is a physical, fast, smart, competitive "take over a game" kinda player.

Manningham is a blazer who can beat coverages deap.

Its best compared to Calvin Johnsons vs Ted Ginn

who would you rather have?? All Michigan bias's aside........me too!

Jackson it is!

Jackson is like a Polished version of Devin Hester.

Manningham is an amazing WR. The kids quickness out of his breaks are phenominal.

I would love to have either.

yea i rather have McFadden although Jackson is without a doubt a great playmaker WR but McFadden has the all the skills. McFadden i believe is and will be rated a much better Pro prospect than Peterson or last year Bush
