your pushing an agenda I'm not =)
So, an agenda cannot be defined as: a) someone labeling a player a bust on draft day, b) continuing to berate the player throughout the offseason and c) dismissing his noted achievements during very limited particpation in the regular season?

Someone should give the dictionary an enema.

Man I'm just not sold on him helping the offense they way he was said to be able to do.

Very good looking class, so far.

Felix is as advertised... plus some.

Jenkins has quietly become a contributor on a super bowl contender and his play on Monday where he knocked the ball away was outstanding.

Bennett is a special athlete for TE and is going to make some big plays for us. He was thisclose to catching a big third down conversion and only perfect timing by Dawkins ruined that. He moves like a big cat. Long, lean and can run. I wasn't crazy about this pick... but I am now. Night and day from Fasano.

Choice looks to be everything you could want in your third running back, plus some. I feel like he could carry the load no problem is something happened to Barber and we had to team Tashard with Felix.

Scandrick might be the most athletic of a very athletic group. He's sudden and has nice DB instincts. Just the fact that he's contributing already speaks volumes about what kind of player he is.

Each of these picks have already (two games) contrubuted on the field. I can't remember the last draft class we had where this many guys had already played and helped the team this early in their rookie year.

Just a great draft, period.

The guy is an agenda troll.

judging by your quote of him, he wants me to answer if Jerry is a good GM ..... Yes ...... because Jerry never fired a winning coach.

Jerry and Jimmy parted ways because of a personality conflict ...... Jimmy wanted to go.

This troll is trying to say that is the same thing as firing Marty because his team lost in the playoffs after going 14-2.

He just likes to stir up real fans.

True when you ask Jimmy Johnson he said he quit and was not fired. This was a mutual parting of the ways. I think what gets me is Wade Phillips has only been here 1 full season and enter his 2nd and is 15 and 4 as HC (including the playoff loss) I think it is stupid to think of firing a coach whose team is producing as the Cowboys are. The future of this club looks as bright as it ever has.

yes its only been two games....just like last year the 8-12 years of cushion was because of Jacquee Reeves and things would change when our starters game back and any other excuses

8 to 12 years what are you talking about? These young players are contributing right now and are making a impact. They will see more playing time as we move forward but it is not as if they are riding the bench and doing nothing. You may want to see about pulling for another team evidently the Cowboys just are not good enough for you.

dallas isn't using felix the way the said he would......

I'd like to see some screens, sweeps and downfield routes myself, but it's only been two games, and the way it looks to me, Garrett is having a hard time finding reasons to take Barber out of the game. He's a great runner, for sure, but he's also demonstrated magnificent pass-catching skills and superb ability to set up blockers on screen plays. Be patient. We don't need to unload the entire playbook in the first coupla games. We'll see more of Felix as the season unfolds and he learns blitz pickups. Protecting Romo was a huge concern against Philly/Jim Johnson, probably why Felix didn't see more snaps on offense.

As I mentioned in another thread, 2005 was a pretty good year for the rooks, as well. But because it was such a defensive draft, the only sexy players of the bunch are Ware and Barber.

This draft was heavy on skill players, so we're gonna see their shine more.

So far, Jerry Jones has gotten what he's paid for and then some. You're just a fan just like the rest of us. You just don't see any value in how Felix Jones has being utilized during his first two games.

Jerry Jones has.

In my opinion, most fans have.

You don't.

That's life outside of an agenda.

I think we didn't see Felix alot in the backfield due to our week 2 opponent. Philly is a heavy/attack defense. Felix one weakness seems to be blitz pickup. Maybe with more reps in practice and gradual playing time, this can be brought up to speed so not to get our all pro QB killed.

EDIT: Sorry VaCowboy, I basically just repeated what you had posted.......bang head!

What I love about this draft class is that not only are they athletic, but they also play positions of direct need going into this past offseason.

Of course, some would argue wide receiver, but so far, that hasn't bit the Cowboys in the butt.
