I remember reading a few posts about how Mike Hart was going to be the best of the running backs in 2008 because he had such a big heart. He showed such fire and determination at Michigan that he was going to be good.

He has yet to impress Indy.

71 attempts
264 yards
3.7 avg
2 TDs
12 receptions
97 yards
8.1 avg
0 TDs

I guess it is sometimes true, you can't measure the size of a player's heart.
He went in the 6th round for a reason.

But we can add another to that long list of 2008 RBs that stuck and at least contributed something.

Felix Jones has returned 46 kickoffs in the regular season, and he has tallied 1,112 yards and 1 TD (98 yards). His average was 24.2 yards per return.

Chris Johnson only returned one kickoff for 17 yards (in three years).

Rashard Mendenhall has only returned 7 kickoffs for 123 yards. (career)

Jonathan Stewart has returned 17 kickoffs for 366 yards. (career)

Darren McFadden has never returned a kickoff, and he only averaged 8.7 rush attempts per game during his first two seasons.

Jamaal Charles (second round) has returned 51 kickoffs for 1,246 yards (regular season). He averaged 24.4 yards per return. His long was a 97 yard TD.

Ray Rice has returned 7 kickoffs for 161 yards. (career)

The Cowboys and Chiefs took Jones and Charles off kickoffs, respectively, last season.
