Is this going to be 2008 all over again..

Offseason with huge expectations only to see the team sink?

There are no guarantees. The season will hinge on Romo's health.

Not for me.

I recognize the NFL for what it is now--a year to year proposition.

This is my deep dark fear... look at the idiot Toxins. They won 12 games in 2012 and 2 the next... :(

Unlike the first round bye... We actually won one playoff game this year.

This team is much younger than in 2008. So no, I don't see it happening

Regarding the Texans, Schaub turned out to be a fraud at QB which led to their 2 wins

Of course it is. The Cowboys are likely going to get cute at the draft and the players are gonna eat the cheese.

I'm just along for the ride. I'll let things unfold as they may.

This is a good team, the only thing that would prevent us from getting to the playoffs again is injuries to key players. We're lucky that Romo found a way to play for most of this season, our Offensive Line was healthy until Free got injured recently. On the defense we found good players to fill in at Linebacker position. Again if we stay healthy, there's enough talent to be contenders for the next 3 years.

I don't think this coaching staff will allow that to happen. Plus, our arrow is most definitely pointed up with what, the 4th youngest team in the NFL?

I think those times are behind us. I like this group, even some of those no names on defense. They will make it right next year.

they were mental midgets even in 07. upgrade on defense, and resign dez.

This team will have none of 2008. As long as they stay healthy they will be every bit as focused as this season. This team has tremendous leadership from the coaching staff to the players. I don't see a bunch of celebrating and laziness this offseason.

Cowboys should have made the playoffs the last 3 years. They are correcting things and getting better. The schedule is not that tough for once next season. No reason at all if romos healthy they dont make the playoffs!!

No way that happens. And if it does we would be well positioned to take an elite QB prospect to learn under Romo for a couple years.
