i watched a little bit of it last night & was mostly satisfied with the results. it was ruined, IMO, by adam lambert's god-awful performance. if anyone here watched it, what did you like about the awards show & what did you hate about it?

The Worst: Adam. It pains me to say it but he was just horrible and Im not even talking about the trip, or the BJ simulation, or the kissing. His voice was just off pitch. He tried to do too much because he was closing the show and it failed.
Disappointed with Shakira. I usually love her, but that performance left me cold.

The Best: I enjoyed Kelly Clarkson. She just sung her face off. Chillz. I also liked Alicia and Jayz. Carrie Underwood was good, except the choreography did nothing for me. She looked uncomfortable.

I wish I could have seen her back-stage after that, she's one of the all-time divas

Fast-forwarded through stuff I knew I'd hate (like Lambert), but of the stuff I saw, I think Jay-Z/Keys just rocked the crowd and blew everyone else out.

Green day did their thing too, which was fine.

Didn't really like much else. I tried Clarkson/Underwood, but I guess they're not my thing musically. J-Lo and Lady Gaga were not very good.
