**2009** Can you make 3 bold predictions for this season?

[Reality]

I thought it would be fun for each of us to make three bold predictions for the 2009/2010 season. There are a few guidelines to these predictions so please read them before posting yours!

Guidelines

• Your predictions must be bold, meaning not something a significant number of people expect. For example saying "the Patriots will make it to the Super Bowl" is not a bold prediction, but saying "the Lions will make it to the Super Bowl" would be.
• Do not make any predictions related to the Cowboys or the team's players. Predictions need to be about other NFL teams and their players.
• Do not make more than one post in this thread. This is not a discussion thread! It is a prediction thread.
• Do not make more than 3 predictions! You can make less predictions if you like but do not make more than 3 and that includes trying to get around this by combining predictions.

We will lock this thread soon and then after the season is over, we will re-sticky it to see which predictions panned out.

My three predictions are:

1) The Miami Dolphins will not make the playoffs this season.

2) The Atlanta Falcons will not make the playoffs this season.

3) Terrell Owens will be on another team's roster before the last game of the season.

What are your predictions?

The Houston Texans will make the playoffs.

An Ohio team will finish the year with an interim coach.

The Pro Bowl will include no players named Manning.

1. The Texans will win a playoff game this season.
2. Michael Vick will be voted in the Pro Bowl,over Donavan McNabb.
3.Matt Stafford will win Rookie of the year.

1. The Vikings will make the super bowl.

2. The Eagkes and Giants will battle it out during the season, knocking one of them out of the playoffs to qualify.

3. The New Orleans Saints will make the playoffs but get edged out in the championship game.

1. Packers will have the best record in the NFC and host the Championship Game.

2. TO will go on the IR this season.

3. Desean Jackson will lead the league in Yards/TDs. (he’s on my fantasy team)

Packers win 11 games minimum.

Baltimore will go to the Super Bowl

Vikings will miss the playoffs

1.) The Giants finish last in the division.
2.) Jason Campbell has a better year than Eli Manning
3.) The Titans miss the playoffs.

1. Brett Favre will play in fewer than 10 games

2. Big Ben will lead the NFL in turnovers

3. Larry Fitzgerald will finish outside the top 5 in yards and TDs

 

[Rampage]

Donavan McNabb will get injured and miss multiple games

The Seahawks will win the NFC West

The Baltimore Ravens will win the AFC North and represent the AFC in the SuperBowl

 

[Hostile]

1. Terrell Owens will not make the Pro Bowl and Roy Williams will.

2. There will not be an uncapped year and they will work out a new CBA.

3. A team will announce a future move to Los Angeles.

1. Aaron Rodgers will surpass 5,000 yards passing this season.

2. The Patriots won't make it to the divisional playoffs.

3. Texans WR Andre Johnson has 2,000 receiving yards.

1) The New England Patriots will not make the playoffs this season.(Poor Nors)

2) The Vikings will not make the playoffs this season. (poor ESPN)

3) Mike Vick will be the Eagles starter before the season is over and it will not be because of injury.

1. Michael Vick will start for the Eagles by at least Week 10. (McNabb injury)

2. The Bengals will make the playoffs and advance to the AFC Championship.

3. Robbie Gould will not miss a field goal all year.

1. The Commanders will show a marked improvement this year and will not finish last in the NFC East like everyone expects.

2. The Bills will make the playoffs with our friend T.O. leading them with 10+ TDs and 1000+ yards receiving.

3. The Colts will not win 12 games this year but still make the playoffs because the Titans, Jaguars and Texans will all finish below .500.

1. Chris Johnson will lead the league in all-purpose yards.
2. The Houston Texans will make the playoffs.
3. Aaron Rodgers will lead the league in Td thrown.

1. There will be even more fallout/stories concerning the Broncos ownership/fo/coaches and players among the fans.

2. Favre, McNabb or J Campbell...one, if not all three, of those guys will not finish the season as the starting QB for their teams.

3. The texans will have their first winning season.
