Too bad we basically wasted the draft last year. Not one guy beside a kick off specialist contributed much this year. Butler had a couple plays and so did ogletree, but nothing special.

What kind of pick was Jason williams? Guy didn't see the field all year, yet we spent our top pick on him? I know they said he has potential, but you don't draft a guy that raw with your top pick in the draft. Hopefully he contributes heavily next year to make the pick somewhat worthy.

WR - Jordan Shipley
WR - Dez Bryant
OL - Free Agent (Not good depth at OL - per Kiper)

How's that for a start? ;)

well i think it's a little harsh to bash this class at this point just b/c they didn't do much this year. they basically admitted with all those picks it was for building depth.

now Jason williams from the beginning was known to be a future project b/c he only was a rush LB in college, he had to learn about reading offenses and coverages and all that, so he's ultra green.

Brewster, Hodge and Brandon Williams all went on IR before the season started, you can't predict injuries. Butler did an admirable job when he was called upon, and you have to remember that he came from being a rush DE in the Pac-10 to being asked to learn the OLB in a 3-4 position, not an easy task.

Beuhler was a stud for what we got him for. i still wish they would've given him a bigger chance at kicking FG, but they probably will do that in this offseason.

as for the rest, M johnson i believe is on the practice squad, but Ogletree was an UFA so that makes up for that.

Mike Hamlin was hurt over 1/2 the year, and he was getting some good reviews in the preseason of already learning schemes and how to call the defense from the safety position, so there's optimism there.

really the only bombs we had were the two CB from Cincinnati, both of which were late round picks.

i think the misnomer is that we were expecting a lot of immediate impact and contributions from this class right away, when in reality it was all about building a strong core of guys to groom into starters.

Didn't expect big production from this draft this year. We said that on draft weekend.

until you fix the o-line nothing will help.you cannot bury your head in the sand and ignore the problem.draft o-line early and often .we need a LT and a backup center.

The main gripe that i have was that most of our picks were big reaches. We could have kept our top pick instead of trading it away, and picked up jason williams with the next if we were so set on him.

They had to know we needed help on the oline, since its probably the oldest line in the league. I know they drafted brewster and you can't predict injuries, but i'm still disappointed in the draft.

If i remember, there were a lot of linebackers who were projected around where our first pick was, but we traded down.

Next year we need oline help, but i also think we need a top flight safety back there who can make plays. Don't know if any will be available that late though

This draft was a complete joke. No difference maker with the exception of buehler.

We won't know if it was a complete joke for a couple of more years...
