He gave the Commanders a C+ because they acquired McNabb, which was the highest grade he gave in the NFC East. How does McNabb have anything to do with the draft?

It's at times like this that you think.... hmmm... maybe the experts say ridiculous things to simply get ratings at the expense of their credibility.

Rod Woodson's cranium is a waste of space. I'm beginning to think former NFL players are nothing more than a source of empty calories when it comes to actual analysis. I don't even think they're best qualified to fill the, "shock jock,' ratings niche they so often seem to try to.

I'd really love to see more former NFL scouts, GMs and head coaches get these analyst jobs and maybe relegate the majority of former players to sideline reporting where they can't, passively aggresively, play out their outdated agendas. Of course, there are some former players that excell at X's & O's type analysis, so I don't mean to paint the entire player base with the same broad stroke.

I think bating fan bases into angry, knee jerk, reactions in order to get ratings is becoming a really tired ploy. I for one am ready for some real insight from these shows...infotainment needs to go away already.

Honestly, if anyone has a chance to see that video clip you should. It is unbelievable some of the things that come out of his mouth when he talks about the Cowboys.

I agree, NFLN is always better when Steve Mariucci, Mike Martz, Brian Bilick or Charlie Casserly are talking than some of the former players.

One of the few former players I like listening to is Nate Newton.

True. I do like Michael Irvin. He has gotten a lot better than his first year at ESPN. He's very partial to the Cowboys, but it's nothing compared to the hate from the rest of the analysts.

Sterling Sharpe and Solomon Wilcotts aren't that bad either.
