Notes
The Cowboys are focused on improving their offensive line and taking opportunities where they can get them to improve their team in free agency. They will look to improve their returns on specials teams. Owner Jerry Jones said the Cowboys will likely add three or four new faces in free agency.

Notes
The Giants addressed one of their biggest areas of need with the record contract handed to FS Antrel Rolle. With the Giants having tendered all but two of their restricted free agents -- TE Darcy Johnson and CB Kevin Dockery were not tendered -- they are probably not going to make any more big splashes.

Current Injuries
Jamaal Jackson, OT - Jackson tore his ACL in Week 16. He'll miss all of the team's offseason camps and workouts and probably won't be ready for the start of training camp. His status for 2010 is a major question mark.
Shawn Andrews, OG - Andrews, who has missed the last two seasons with a back injury, probably won't be able to participate in the team's offseason camps. The team really isn't counting on him for 2011.
Notes
The Eagles have a lot of important offseason decisions to make, including who is going to be their starting quarterback in 2010. Long-time starting QB Donovan McNabb has one year left on his contract and there is speculation that he will be traded, which would open the door for second-round pick Kevin Kolb. A lot will depend on how enticing the offers are for McNabb. It is believed the Eagles want a first-round pick for him. The release of Will Witherspoon deepens the team's need there. Marlin Jackson was signed to play free safety, but lacks experience and has been hurt too often to be a given there.

Top 2010 Contract Players
Levi Jones, OT Jason Campbell, QB
Current Injuries
Clinton Portis, RB - Portis' final eight games of 2008 and first eight of 2009 were mediocre. He missed the last half of the year with a concussion, leaving his future in doubt less than seven months from his 29th birthday. Backup Ladell Betts will be 30 and is coming off major knee surgery.
Notes
Signing Larry Johnson to team with Clinton Portis may help the run game, but will it matter if GM/Coach Mike Shanahan doesn't improve the offensive line through the draft? Bringing Artis Hicks in strengthens the interior depth, but Chris Samuels is officially retired and Mike Williams is no answer on the right side. Then there's the quarterback situation...could Shanahan like Jimmy Clausen enough to take him with the number four overall pick instead of taking the much-needed tackle?
